HOW IT IS OBTAINED:

Wheatgrass is considered to be the perfect detox agent because it cleanses your body thoroughly.

It is very easy to grow wheatgrass, in any climate and at any place. You just need a small pot, wheat seeds, a little good quality moist soil, a little sunlight and an adequate amount of water.

Take a small pot and fill it up with your moist soil and cover up your wheat seeds in the middle of the soil and now just go on giving a little water twice a day. Within five to six days you will see the grass has grown enough, so that you can now cut it and use it. Keep this process going on a regular basis and one can easily produce your own wheatgrass at home.

Wheatgrass is available in a juice form, in a powder form or tablet and can be consumed in a variety of ways so it is quite easy to add to your diet.

Initially when you start consuming it, take it in a small quantity as it is a totally new thing for the body and so it may take time to get used to it.


 

WAYS TO CONSUME WHEATGRASS:

JUICE: with 300 ml of warm water you can either juice your fresh grass or add a powder form. Or the juice of wheatgrass can be added to any of your smoothies easily. Generally it is advisable to take it on an empty stomach.

SUPPLEMENT: If you are taking it as a supplement, consume two tablets a day, and after a meal will be more soothing till your body gets adjusted to it. Once your body is non-reactive, start taking it on an empty stomach, as that is more beneficial.

ON FOOD: One can add the powder of wheatgrass to salads and fruits.
